Biography:
The Chamber Orchestra of the Niederlenzer Musiktage was founded in 2022 as the festival’s resident ensemble and comprises a core of musicians who all enjoy premiering contemporary music. Among the founder members are violins Stefan Tarara (concertmaster), Benjamin Herzl, Rustem Monasypov and Lora Markova, violas Cyprien Semayne and Izabel Markova, on cello Annette Jakovcic and Sebastian Braun, and on double bass João Lucas. The musicians have all won prizes in international competitions and appear as soloists all over the world.
