
Ana Bakradze (piano)
Biography:
Ana Bakradze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, and began playing the piano at the age of six at the Tbilisi Art School. She continued her education at the Zakaria Paliashvili Central Music School for Gifted Children in Tbilisi under Prof. Veka Svanidze in 2014.
In 2018, she graduated from high school with a gold medal as the best student of the year.
Since 2018, she has been studying piano at the University of the Arts in Berlin with Prof. Gottlieb Wallisch, pursuing both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
Ana Bakradze is a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy Liechtenstein, the Paul Hindemith Society Berlin, and the Ad Infinitum Foundation.
She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at major concert series and festivals in cities such as Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, London, Paris, Vienna, Barcelona, Stockholm, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Geneva, and Zürich, among others.
Further performances include appearances at the Festival Pianoscope in France, invited by the renowned pianist Khatia Buniatishvili, as well as at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam, the Musikalischer Sommer in Ostfriesland festival, the Schiermonnikoog Chamber Music Festival in the Netherlands, and Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz.
She has won first prizes at the Nodar Gabunia Piano Competition, the T. Amirejibi International Piano Competition in Borjomi, the IV National Piano Competition in Tbilisi, and others.
