Jocelyn Lightfoot | french horn
Biography:
Jocelyn attended Chetham’s School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, studying under Richard Watkins, Michael Thompson and Andrew Clark. She was awarded the 2003 Dennis Brain Horn Prize. She now plays with the major British and Irish symphony orchestras, having been solo horn with Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Norway, in 2010–2011. As a chamber musician she has worked with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, London Winds, Nash Ensemble, Carducci Quartet, and Onyx Brass. Jocelyn plays classical and baroque horn, performing regularly with La Serenissima and other ensembles, and has toured with Trevor Pinnock performing the Brandenburg Concertos.
