Kate Royal
Biography:
Kate Royal is the winner of the 2004 Kathleen Ferrier Award. She has sung Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) for the Glyndebourne Festival and Woglinde in Das Rheingold under Sir Simon Rattle at the BBC Proms. Opera engagements include Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) for the Glyndebourne Festival and Teatro Real Madrid, the Countess (Le nozze di Figaro) and Governess (The Turn of the Screw) for Glyndebourne Touring Opera, Countess for the Aix-en-Provence Festival and the Monnaie, Brussels, Handel’s L’Allegro for the Paris Opera, Micaela at Glyndebourne and both Miranda (Ades’ The Tempest) and Pamina for the Royal Opera, Covent Garden.
