Biography:

Founded in Montreal in 1991 and currently directed by Sylvain Bergeron and Claire Gignac, Ensemble La Nef produces concept programs in both the early-music and world music arenas. Inspired by sources such as history, literature and painting, the ensemble collaborates with artists from diverse disciplines. La Nef’s skill in bringing versatile and creative artists together to work on a concept gives its productions both diversity of style and a unique signature.
